Walker’s first novel, The Age of Miracles, was named one of the best books of the year by People, O, The Oprah Magazine, The Financial Times, Kirkus, Publishers Weekly, Amazon, and Barnes & Noble. It has been translated into 27 languages and optioned for film by River Road Entertainment. Walker’s writing has also appeared in The Wall Street Journal, The New York Times, and Real Simple, and she gave a TED talk about fear and the imagination at TEDGlobal 2012. She has also worked as an editor at Simon & Schuster, and she is at work on a second novel.
